CREDIT AND PAYMENT
There are a number of ways you can pay for your work at Malloy. We accept checks, cashier's check, money orders, and Malloy eCheck. We also accept most credit cards and PayPal as non-standard payment methods.
Terms
With most first-time customers we require full payment prior to shipment. However, we are willing to extend payment terms provided that you pass a credit check. To obtain credit terms with Malloy, complete a Credit Application , and either email or fax a copy to our credit department (Contact information listed below). All information will be held in strict confidence.
Malloy eCheck
We offer the Malloy eCheck option as a free electronic method of payment.
If you choose to pay by Malloy eCheck, you will need to submit a Malloy eCheck Authorization Form (contact information listed below) or simply fax a copy of your check to our Credit department (734.995.8527). There is no need to mail the actual check and Malloy will process it as though you sent a check through the mail without the wait time associated with mailing a check.
When you pay by Malloy eCheck, you will not pay a convenience fee for payments of any amount.
Credit Card & PayPal Payment
We accept American Express, MasterCard, Visa, and Discover. We also accept PayPal.
If you choose to pay by credit card, you will need to submit a Credit Card Authorization Form (contact information listed below).
If you are a registered user of PayPal, we will ask you for the email address which you have registered with PayPal. We will initiate a “Request for Payment” for all PayPal payments. You will receive an email from PayPal asking you to authorize payment; you then click a button and follow the instructions provided by PayPal.
When you pay by credit card or PayPal, Malloy is assessed a processing fee by the credit card company or PayPal. This expense is not something we account for in our standard pricing; we prefer to give you the option to pay for only those services you wish to utilize. In some cases, we assess a fee to credit card transactions in order to recoup some of the cost associated with accepting them. Malloy will waive any convenience fee if you pay by credit card for an invoice with total charges of less than $1000. If you pay by credit card for an invoice with total charges of $1000 or more, or if you pay by PayPal for an invoice of any amount, we charge a 3% fee for the convenience of paying through a third party.
Sales Tax Exemption
If you are located in Michigan, California, Illinois, or New York, and we ship your product to those states, Malloy is required to add sales tax to your invoice if we do not have a sales tax exemption certificate on file. Please download the appropriate state’s sales tax exemption form:
