Started at Malloy in 1985.
Actually, that isn't quite accurate; I spent three summers, beginning in 1979, working in various production departments at Malloy. Although I do not claim to be an expert at book printing, my experience working in the plant gave me a good understanding of the book making process and an appreciation for the skill of the people who actually make books for Malloy.
After I graduated from Trinity College (Hartford, CT) in 1982, I spent three years in the insurance business before returning to Malloy full time. I've been in the sales end of the business ever since. I am most familiar with our customers on the East Coast, although I've had a chance over the years to meet a good number of publishers across the country. Along the way, I earned an MBA from the University of Michigan.
Committed to the Environment At Malloy, we are committed to protecting the environment and to the responsible use of our natural resources. We have dual Chain of Custody (CoC) certification with the Forest Stewardship Council (FSC) and the Sustainable Forestry Initiative (SFI). We seek to provide our customers with a selection of text and cover papers derived from sustainable sources that are harvested responsibly. We also are proud to say that we are a Zero Landfill company.
